Effects of Microbial Inoculants on Fermentation Quality and Aerobic Stability of Paper Mulberry Silages Prepared with Molasses or Cellulase

چکیده

Paper mulberry (Broussonetia papyrifera L.) is an unconventional forage with high crude protein content and widely used in China. In order to evaluate the pattern of fermentation quality aerobic stability when inoculated lactic acid bacteria, laboratory-scale silage was prepared. The experimental groups included a control group (CK), Lactobacillus plantarum ‘LC365283’ (selected from paper silage) treatment (L1), commercial inoculant (GF), buchneri (FR), 3% molasses (MO), 150 U/g cellulase (CE), their combinations (MO + L1, MO GF, FR, CE FR). changes bacterial community composition products were evaluated after being ensiled for 30 days unsealed 1, 3, 5, 7 days. Compared CK, CE, silages treated L1 showed higher concentrations, lower pH values, ammonia nitrogen concentrations (p < 0.05). During first 3 exposure, values organic changed slightly all treatments. present study suggests that addition better than inoculum, could be well preserved

Effect of Applying Molasses and Propionic Acid on Fermentation Quality and Aerobic Stability of Total Mixed Ration Silage Prepared with Whole-plant Corn in Tibet

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of molasses and propionic acid on the fermentation quality and aerobic stability of total mixed ration (TMR) silages prepared with whole-plant corn in Tibet. TMR (354 g/kg DM) was ensiled with four different treatments: no additive (control), molasses (M), propionic acid (P), and molasses+propionic acid (PM), in laboratory silos (250 mL) a...

The Effect of Oregano and Cinnamon Essential Oils on Fermentation Quality and Aerobic Stability of Field Pea Silages

This study was performed to determine the effect of field pea silages which were the organic acid (OA) alternative of oregano and cinnamon essential oils on fermentation quality and aerobic stability. Whole crop pea was harvested at full pod stage and wilted in the laboratory at the 48 h. The chopped pea was mixed and divided into equal portions allocated to five groups: CON (non-treated), dist...
